Friends of New Horizons,
Join us this Sunday December 1 as we begin the Advent journey together. This year’s theme is “What the World Needs Now is Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love,” and we will focus on Hope this week.
Worship at 9:00am and 10:45am.
Hanging of the Greens – All are welcome to help decorate the church after the 10:45am worship service. The Deacons will lead the process but anyone can come. A lunch will be provided.
Devoted to Generosity – If you didn’t have an opportunity to turn in a pledge card last week, no problem. You can do it this Sunday. Thank you to our Stewardship team for all they did for our “Devoted to Generosity” month including the fantastic luncheon: Glenn Warner, Cal Wolfe, Helen Stager, Pat Burridge, Brenda Adkins, and Jim Bane. Thanks to spouses also for setting up and cleaning up for the luncheon.
Worship and Wonder Our children continue to learn about Advent.
Breakfast at 9:30am in the Social Hall.
A very brief board meeting will be held at 9:25am in the sanctuary.
