As reported on the front page of the Beacon Journal, an incident of racial intimidation occurred just a few steps away from our church property a few days ago.
This incident is a reminder that racism doesn’t just happen somewhere else, but in places where we live, work, and worship.
God is calling the New Horizons Christian Church to be a community of reconciliation and healing starting in our own neighborhoods.
Let us be a people of prayer as well as action.
