Although we just finished our Thanksgiving meals, and could possibly be enjoying the leftovers for several days, the season of Advent begins THIS Sunday.

Unfortunately, due to the increase in Covid-19 cases, we are continuing to postpone worshipping in-person in our Sanctuary for the next several weeks.

The following is our worship schedule for the Season of Advent:

Sunday Nov. 29th – First Sunday of Advent: HOPE  – Online Worship Only

Sunday Dec. 6th– Second Sunday of Advent – Online Worship Only

Sunday Dec. 13th – Third Sunday of Advent – Online Worship Only

Sunday Dec. 20th– Fourth Sunday of Advent- Online Worship Only

Thursday Dec. 24th – Christmas Eve – Online Worship AND Possible Outside Drive-In Worship Service

Sunday Dec. 27th – First Sunday After Christmas- Online Worship Only

As long as there are no technological issues, our worship services will be available Sunday mornings on our YouTube channel.

ADVENT DEVOTIONALS: We have Advent Devotionals for anyone who would like one. You can stop by the church during the week to pick one up or call the church and let us know you would like one sent to you.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: Reminder that while the current Stay at Home Advisory is in effect, our Sunday School classes will not be meeting. As we get closer to December 16th, we will let you know what the Sunday School classes will or will not be doing about meeting. You can also contact Jim, Ali, Valdene or Glenn for information about the classes.

BUCKEYE PICK UP: Buckeye orders will be available for pick-up on Saturday Dec. 5th from 10am – 12:00pm. You can drive up to the main doors of the church and your Buckeye order will brought out to you. Please contact Lisa Warner or Brenda Adkins for more information.

This past week our visiting Regional Ministers sent out a letter to the region regarding return plans for in-person worship. Our re-opening team made our decision not to return to in-person worship before we received this but it is just another affirmation that we have made a wise decision which has everyone’s safety as our number one priority. Feel free to click on the link below to read the letter.
