A Note From Pastor Bane: It has been my honor to serve the church as Pastor (and later Lead Pastor) since October 2003, and it is my intention to retire from this role at the end of 2021. Our family has been blessed in so many ways by all the experiences we have had and all the personal interactions we have been part of over these years.

Upcoming Meetings:

The Ohio Commission on Ministry is meeting in our building on June 15^th.

A meeting for Congregational Conversation will be held in two weeks on Sunday June 27^th at 9:30 am. This meeting will be focused on the upcoming change in pastoral leadership. This meeting is open to all members of the church.

Mission Opportunity:

The Sisters in Christ are taking on a new mission project. We will be helping the Akron Urban League provide 30 back packs filled with baby supplies for expectant and new mothers who are in need of some extra help with these resources.

This is how you can help –

The entire month of July will be focused on gathering the supplies needed for the backpacks. We will kick off the month of giving on Sunday July 4^th, with a “Big Give Day.” On that day we ask that you bring as many of the items you wish to bring from the baby bag needs list. After this initial giving, the remainder of the Sundays in July will focus on specific items from the list. We will keep you posted on what those items will be. If you wish to contribute monetarily, feel free to do so. Please mark your check or online giving with “Baby Mission” so we know what it is for.
