Got a Hymn Request???? We will be taking hymn requests for the next few weeks. There will be a board in the Gathering Area for you to write your hymn request on. You can also share your request online in the comments on our YouTube Channel, or on our Facebook page, or you can email Jim and Ali. Now that we are singing in worship again, we would like you to help us pick the hymns for the summer! We are looking forward to your requests!

Meetings on Sunday:

A Congregational Conversation will be happening THIS SUNDAY, June 27^th at 9:30am. This meeting will be focused on the upcoming change in pastoral leadership. This meeting is open to everyone. There will be coffee and light refreshments.

Also this Sunday, there will be a few representatives from the Akron Urban League at our church on Sunday, June 27^th. After our 10:45 am worship service The Akron Urban League will be sharing with our Sisters-in-Christ, as well as anyone who would like to attend, more about the baby backpack program that we are helping to gather supplies for. There will be light snacks served. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ali or Holly

Mission Opportunity:

The Sisters in Christ are taking on a new mission project. We will be helping the Akron Urban League provide 30 back packs filled with baby supplies for expectant and new mothers who are in need of some extra help with these resources.

This is how you can help –

Sunday July 4^th, we will hold a “Big Give Day.” On that day we ask that you bring to church as many of the items you wish to bring from the following needs list. After this initial giving, the remainder of the Sundays in July will focus on specific items from the list. We will keep you posted on what those items will be. If you wish to contribute monetarily, feel free to do so. Please mark your check or online giving with “Baby Mission” so we know what it is for.
