We can hardly believe that it’s August already. The summer has flown by as we have been busy “Building A Bigger Table.”
Here are some things to know about how we are living out our faith here at NHCC…
Our Food Pantry and Blessing Box are in need of food. Please drop off any non-perishable food items if you can. You can also give financially by using the Givelify app or sending money to the church. Make sure you note that it is for the food panty and blessing box.
Our new sound equipment is here and should be up and working by this Sunday! We may need to make some minor adjustments and add a few additional items. For now, the bulk of our equipment is here!!! THANK YOU to all who gave to help make this possible.
Our new ministry the “Better Together Lunch Bunch,” for widows and widowers will have our first lunch gathering Sunday, August 14th. Our time together will be from 12-2pm. ALL are welcome. You do not need to be a member of NHCC to join us. All food and beverages will be provided. Come and join in some fellowship and community building with those who are in a similar path in life. If you would like to help with this lunch and ministry, please let Pastor Ali know.
Our Pastoral Search Committee has been hard at work. They are receiving profiles and will be reaching out to candidates to schedule interviews in the coming weeks. The committee has done a great deal of difficult work to move this process along and get us to this next phase of this journey. THANK YOU to the committee for all their hard work and dedication.
A Women’s Retreat is happening this fall on Sept. 30- Oct. 1 at Camp Christian. Look on the Women’s Ministry tab for more information!
